Old MCI Offers VOIP Services Internationally

Verizon Business has launched an aggressive international initiative offering IP trunking, hosted IP Centrex, managed IP PBX, IP access for BRI and PRI-based PBXs, and wholesale VoIP gateway services. By the end of the year, the services are expected to be available in the U.S., UK, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Australia, and South Africa. The IP Trunking service was rolled out with Cisco's CallManager 4.1.3, but will eventually be available for CallManager Express and Avaya's Communication Manager 3. The wholesale VoIP gateway service enables wholesale customers to offer SIP-based VoIP to PSTN trunking services and global termination of calls through a single solution. The service features metered outbound local calling and directory or operator services, available in 23 languages. Other features include LNP, e911 and web-based order submission. The company's managed IP PBX service features a SLA that issues will be resolved within 3.5 hours, notification of issues within 15 minutes, an average MOS of 4.0 and up to 100% credit for missed metrics. Verizon has also announced that it is offering application aware network tools to its private IP customers. The tools will provide network assessment, reporting, dynamic bandwidth and application and packet marking. Call your VerizonBusiness partner, RAD-INFO, Inc., at 813-963-5884 to order.
