Social Media Policy

Pam Moore wrote a nice article about humanizing your brand. Of course, this is a social media policy article - but it had some good stuff. Here are 6 take-aways.

Have a Social media policy for your company. It's a guidebook to prevent disasters.

Encourage your employees to be social. (After you have a policy in place)

Share photos and videos of your team being human. Facebook is really a high school yearbook. It is all about photos and videos. Why? People have attention deficit disorder. See? You barely made it this far.

Develop an editorial calendar. One message across all your online and offline platforms. One Voice, many microphones.

Quality over Quantity.

Stop the interruption marketing. If you wouldn'[t read it yourself, why send it out?
