Broadcore is being showcased by Broadsoft for its Go-To-Market strategy. You can get the case study here.
MetTel was a reseller for POTS, PRI and DSL. They have spent a couple of years transforming themselves with the help of Sprint and Broadsoft. MetTel has rolled out Mobile Integration and MDM (mobile device management) with AirWatch. It is an MVNO with both Sprint and VZW. It even offers M2M and wireless backup. It is full service CLEC. It is an interesting case study.
Interesting quote from the article and a BSFT report: "According to BroadSoft’s 2011 Mobile Enterprise of the Future Study, 60 percent of the firms surveyed said at least one-quarter of their workforce is mobile, and 44 percent have at least one-quarter operating solely using a mobile phone. In fact, 73 percent of respondents in the study expect mobile devices to replace office phones, with 60 percent expecting the transition to happen in the next five years."
Another interesting article about the decline of voice here.
Since I have been accused of FUD in the past, I figured I would showcase a couple of cases that could give you ideas or a road map to go with the reports.
