DR as a Service

The new AAS is Disaster Recovery as a Service. I guess marketing firms have zero idea what MSP and Service Providers do for a living so they jump on thehttp://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gif bandwagon.

Windstream is pitching big time, even for small businesses. I like this line: "And how wisely you spend your IT budget on things like disaster recovery may well determine whether, down the road, you even have a company."

Lessons from Katrina are that if businesses don't back up customer records and other vital information, water damage will end their business. The other lesson: No one thinks it will happen to them!

This is Selling the Invisible! It's selling Insurance. That is the mindset that is needed.
