So You Want to Offer Mobility

One way to offer mobility (or cell service) is to become an MVNO. All 4 cellcos - Sprint, T, VZW and T-Mobile - offer an MVNO program. It is a lengthy process to get details, pricing and contracts, let me tell you. Another way is to use TDMobility, a program that Tech Data rolled out last year in beta.

"TDMobility enables telco VARs to create a complete, “end-to-end” mobile offering for customers, including activation and billing -- without having to deal directly with the carrier themselves. Tech Data, instead, takes that task into its own hands, serving as a go-between for TDMobility VARs and the program’s three participating carriers: AT&T, T-Mobile, and Sprint," as it is explained in this CRN article.

None of the articles or pr explain details so I can't tell you what to expect. However, I did ping Joe Quaglia, SVP U.S. Marketing & President, TDMobility at Tech Data Corporation to see about an interview for details. meanwhile, if you have a TD account, ping your account rep.
