The FCC sets new dates for CALEA filings. The newly posted dates are as follows:
- March 12, 2007 for Section 105 filings
- February 12, 2007 for Section 107 filings
- February 12, 2007 for Monitoring Reports

The industry is now facing down a May 14 deadline, which is the date that ALL broadband service providers and inter-connected VoIP providers must have their networks CALEA compliant. The problem is: What is CALEA compliance??? Well Kris Twomey will be discussing CALEA at the Part-15.org WISPCON IX in NOLA on Feb. 21-23. At the VPF event in Miami in March, there will be a CALEA discussion as well.
