Brick Network acquired by Access US
"Access US, one of the St. Louis area's largest local Internet service providers, has acquired the assets of Brick Network, another local Internet firm......In an interview last October, O'Sullivan said Brick generated about $2 million in revenue in 2005 and had between 5,000 and 6,000 customers, including about 1,000 who connect to the Internet through a high-speed DSL line." [Brick's business was valued at $2M or 1x annual revenue]. "Mattison said Access US plans to continue to expand to business Internet users through its voice over Internet protocol (VoIP) product and through a $4.3 million contract with the U.S. Department of Agriculture to roll out wireless Internet to communities in central and southern Illinois, starting in Mount Carmel and Carmi, about 150 miles east of St. Louis."
