The FCC delayed a vote on th emega-merger of AT&T and BST allowing for public comments. Interested parties must file comments no later than October 24, 2006 here. Persons and entities that file comments become parties to the proceeding. They may participate fully in the proceeding, including seeking access to any confidential information that may be filed under a protective order, seeking reconsideration of decisions, and filing appeals of a final decision to the courts. DSL Reports has some info on the concessions AT&T is willing to make. AT&T wants to start 10 wireless trials using their 2.3 and 2.5 licensed spectrum by EOY 2007 - that they have been squatting on for about 5 years. The concessions were for them to give some of that spectrum up for WISPs and CLECs to use.
