Cellular Sub Value: $1863

From Telecomweb: "Rural wireless specialist Dobson Cellular has purchased yet another little carrier, this time paying $95 million for West Virginia operator Highland Cellular LLC. Dobson gains 51,000 new customers with the purchase at a cost of about $1,863 per subscriber, which is seen as being right in line with the going rate for cellular-subscriber acquisitions these days." Now the funny thing is that Dobson makes a lot of money on roaming charges. Also, if you own just one cell license, everyone else has to sign a roaming agreement with you. Just one license.
