There is so much noise shouting at the consumer today that even the big names are having trouble getting a message through. Macy's has a Chief Creative Officer for Marketing. (What a gret title!) His name is Joe Feczko. He designed the $1 million give-away becuase "We needed a stunt to break through the (advertising) clutter." Macy's has never done a promotion "this big and or this coordinated logistically," he says. So you need a BANG! to get through the Buzz. So be creative and be a
guerilla marketer! (Remember
the law of remarkability).
