Home Media Center PC

HP has been hyping their new Media Centers alongsie their flat panel TVs, but leaving out the PC part. Now along comes Bang & Olufsen with the BeoMedia 1 Media Center. DirecTV has announced that they should have a media center out soon. Then there's this crazy one: Niveus Media’s new Denali Limited Edition HDTV Media Center PC. Sony has been selling Viao Digital Studio PCs for a while. They just released this: Sony VAIO XL1 Digital Living System Media Center PC: it includes HDMI video out, WiFi, an external 200 DVD changer, and a wireless keyboard with track pad for just $2300. So apparently there is a market for Home Entertainment convergence - the converged living room that Powell was cheering on. It just costs an arm and a leg, but with all the telecom layoffs no one can afford it. Let's not forget to mention Akimbo and Sling Media.
