Global Information Group vs. VZW

Comm Daily is reporting: "Verizon Wireless said it filed a lawsuit and got an immediate injunction against a Florida-based private investigative agency and its affiliates to stop them from "fraudulently" obtaining confidential information about carriers' customers. The civil suit filed Nov. 2 in Hillsborough County, Fla., circuit court charged that Global Information Group made "thousands of attempts" to obtain confidential information without proper authorization and used fraudulent "schemes" to do so. The court issued a temporary restraining order the same day." So is the Tampa Tribune. DSL Reports had a story about GIG also.
