Couple of Crazy Headlines

"Stop by a Verizon Wireless store in California and about two dozen other states, and you may encounter a sales pitch not for Verizon's own land-line phone, Internet and TV services but for those of a competitor such as Time Warner Cable or Comcast." Merely a marketing partnership from their joint venture in the spectrum sale involving VZW and SpectrumCo.

The FCC ruled that Comcast must carry Tennis Channel on the same tier as Comcast owned NBCSN, GolfChannel, reports the NYTimes. After tears, Comcast will appeal. "It's not fair!" says Comcast executive. "All those lobbying dollars and we still lose a few. I'm confused," thinks another Comcast exec.
