Explaining SAAS to SMB

I don't like to admit it, but VZ does a nice job of explaining Software-as-a-Service (SAAS) to small business with its webinar series. (See here)

"Most businesses, regardless of size, use software in their daily operations. It can often be expensive and complicated to maintain." Great point. I am training people to start conversations with, "So how does the Internet affect your business? Let's look at software, web searches, social media, and communications for starters."

"What are the advantages of SaaS?" Economical, Ease-of-Use, Flexible, and Accessibility. Ultimately, SAAS is about 2 things:

  1. High Availability of Data from any Internet connected device and
  2. SAAS takes the technology out the business owner's way.
