Hosted Exchange Adds VoIP

Intermedia has been an ISPCON mainstay back in the day. GroupSpark and Intermedia introduced white label hosted email to the industry - or at least rang that bell for many years.

"Microsoft Exchange hosting provider Intermedia today announced the launch of a new hosted PBX VoIP service which integrates with Intermedia's hosted Exchange e-mail service enabling customers to access both unlimited domestic (US and Canada) calling and extension dialing and unified communications (UC) features such as click-to-call and voicemail to e-mail.... It also includes features such as a direct phone number, unique extension, E911 Service, caller ID, call waiting, call transfer, call forwarding and 3-way calling..... The service can expand into a full UC service if customers add hosted Microsoft Office Communications Server (OCS) and OCS Calling features. ... The service is provided to Intermedia by its VoIP partner, Unison Communications Inc." [TMC newswire]

The concept of unified communications means one provider for email and voicemail. It's just funny that a Hosted Exchange provider goes this route before most Hosted VoIP providers.
