Bigger web dev companies are raising cash to start doing roll-ups. This means the cost of acquiring companies is going to increase. But the BizJournal points out:

"Still, IDC analyst Melissa Webster said there may be opportunities for new Internet businesses to emerge as corporations demand a host of new Web technologies, such as AJAX and Flash. ... "Any time there's a technology shift, that creates opportunity," Webster said."
