MCI Satellite Internet

It must be satellite news day. VerizonBusiness (VZB, the former MCI/UUNET/Worldcom) is still using the Tachyon Networks satellite service. With it, MCI is able to provide broadband satellite services at 128k to 1MB in the continental U.S., Hawaii, Alaska, Mexico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, Guatemala and Canada. CSX is a customer. And now McCoy’s Building Supply is a customer - stolen from AT&T.
