As he was sitting in Congress for his re-confirmation as FCC Chairperson, Harry Potter told his office to destroy all copies of a Media Ownership Study that tax money paid for. The reason: It proved that Local News and Reporting is suffering from Media Consolidation!

"A 2004 Federal Communications Commission study that showed locally owned television stations provide more local news than others was ordered destroyed by FCC officials, and only came to light this week when a copy was leaked to Sen. Barbara Boxer (D.-Calif.).
