DirecTV and VoIP???
from New Telephony: "DIRECTV is considering rolling out VoIP service to its satellite subscribers. The company recently formed a partnership between Hicks Holdings LLC and The DIRECTV Group Inc. named DirecPath, which is working with VoIP provider Vistula Communications Services Inc. in a six-month pilot program. If all goes as planned, DirecPath will offer bundled DIRECTV programming, and broadband voice, data and security services for MDUs and gated communities. Vistula developed the V-Cube IP PBX platform." Is Murdoch just announcing stuff to make DTV more attractive to John Malone?
