FDN sells Supra to Claertel

Cleartel is owned by MCG Capital Corp., an Arlington, Va., investment firm and last year Cleartel merged with IDS Telecom. Supra was bought out of bankruptcy last year by Miami private equity firm H.I.G. Capital and FDN Communications. Most of its customers are Hispanic and live in South Florida. For years before its bankruptcy, Supra was embroiled in bitter financial disputes with BellSouth.
