The Naked DSL Loophole

As part of the unenforceable merger requirements on at&t and vz, Naked DSL was supposed to be made available. So far, VZ allows you to order DSL on a phone line, then port the number to VoIP or cell. And you save $1! What a deal. SBC is still fighting to squeeze through a loophole. The SF newspaper has more. Techdirt sums it up.
