BST Says It's NOT Blocking MySpace

PC Mag is reporting that users on Thursday & Friday were having problems getting to MySpace and YouTube. "We don't block lawful sites," Joe Chandler, director of media relations at BellSouth added. Techdirt thinks it might have just been a network issue, since he believes that telco execs aren't that stupid. (Beg to differ!) Maybe a tech turned up an IMS box early or it was supposed to be a trial. Or just another example of why the RBOCs shouldn't be allowed to own Internet backbones -- becuase they don't know how to just leave them alone!
