Qwest did not Join RBOCs in NSA Spying

Leslie Cauley at the USA Today has a great article about the NSA-RBOC allegiance here. David Isenberg, who will be the Keynote at ISPCON next Wed., has a great post about the story here. Basically, Qwest thought the NSA needed a court order and Qwest was afraid of the liability for lawsuits and fines for giving out customer records. (He didn't know that the FCC would weaken and become nothing more than an RBOC Yes Club. Heck, the FCC didn't even fine the websites selling customer bill info).
