Qwest Buys OnFiber

Qwest is buying OnFiber Comm. for $107M in stock before L3 can get around to it. Qwest gets "dedicated-local-loop capability in some 23 U.S. markets outside the incumbent's 14-state operating region." M&A has been hot this season with L3 scooping up Progress, ICG, and Telcove; and many other CLECs merging together to combat the mega-mergers of VZ and at&t.
