NEN targets Convenience Stores

New Edge has targeted Retail by partnering with AMEX, MC & VISA. NEN has an ad campaign designed for Convenience Stores. "New Edge Network VPNs can also be configured to be multi-card certified, which means they meet the strict security standards of payment processing." By making credit card processing easier (and they claim cheaper), NEN can take some of the retail market from Hughes VSAT division. An idea: partner with a payment processor (like Authorize.net) as well as a POS vendor to get your share of the retail sector. It's not the pipe - it's the productivity the pipe provides.
