Court Rejects VoIP E911 Petition

Nuvio lost. Surprise! The courts, the FCC, the Administration and Congress all on the side of the ILECs. Preserve that lobbyist gold, guys! Keep that old system cobbled together as our nation sinks into an economic slump, and other nations pass us by.
"Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) providers will be scrambling to meet the FCC's Nov. 28 E911 mandate, now that the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia turned down a request by several carriers to negate or to push back the commission’s requirements."
