Free Wireless Security Software

Interlink Networks said Monday that it was offering a free version of its wireless security software for home and small office users. The company said its LucidLink Home Office Edition, offers automatic set-up with access points and routers from Linksys, D-Link and 3Com. The free software supports as many as three users, according to the company, and is similar to its LucidLink Wireless Security product offered for enterprises. The software protects against threats such as rogue access points and war driving, according to the company.
