>>> The interest in this case will be to see what the ruling is on exactly what is VOIP traffic and how do the ILECs get to bill for termination on it. If the FCC rules in SBC's favor, VOIP is probably done as the "cheap" POTS alternative. Also, if SBC wins, all the UNE-P CLECs switching to a VOIP strategy are probably in trouble.
