Covad has new Offerings

Earthlink plans to sell Covad line-powered voice; the phone service (they're branding it "Earthlink True Voice") needs no consumer side hardware, works through every jack in the home, and receives its power from the jack just like regular phone service. Earthlink plans to bundle this service with 8Mbps ADSL2+ and unlimited calling for around $70. In another story, Covad is rolling out 6Mbps/768Kbps "TeleSoho" tier that costs $109.95 per month.
