i2Telecom's VoiceStick

i2Telecom International Inc., the maker of the plug-and-play VoiceStick, today released the softphone version of the VoiceStick service. The software is a downloadable Internet phone free to subscribers. The softphone gives users access to the i2Telecom network, no matter where they are located. It installs on a laptop or desktop PC and provides the same features as the VoiceStick hardware. It also e-mails voicemail messages to users when a call goes unanswered. i2Telecom additionally released new rate plans, which range from $3.99 per month to $19.99 per month for calls between the United States and Canada.
