Google Fiber to Austin?

Telecom Ramblings has a post about Google moving to Austin next. Robert Metcalfe and GigaOm's Stacey also tweeting that Googel will announce that Austin is the next city to get its FTTX project.

Estimates are that Google spent $87 million so far in Kansas City. DSLR writes, "and that it could cost $11 billion to deploy 1 Gbps service to another 20 million homes." Interesting numbers that I thought you would like to see.
