Why You Will Fail

5 Reasons Why Most IT Solution Providers Will Fail, includes Leadership, Execution, Innovation, Processes and Sales.

Think about Sprint. Their execution and leadership have been lacking. They went all wireless and neglected their fiber network to the point that customers forgot about it.

Innovation? The only cool thing might be their FMC with Broadsoft.

The M2M (machine-to-machine) division does a nice job of enabling applications. They now have competition from the other 3 cellcos now (yes, even T-Mobile is in M2M).

Sprint's ARPU for "contract customers spent $63.38 on average a month last quarter, up $4.31 from a year earlier," according to BusinessWeek. So smartphone sales, especially the iPhone is helping with revenue, but it also burning up capital in subsidies.

How many of the 5 factors do you think about?
