FCC Adelstein Blasts White House

In the National Journal, FCC Commissioner Jon Adelstein blasted the White House for its lack of a clear broadband policy. He was speaking at F2C. The Bush Administration promised "affordable, universal broadband by 2007." Check the calendar folks; it is 2007. It probably won't happen, especially in areas like VT and Maine with only 60% DSL penetration - and VZ giving up and selling those areas to Frontier. France Telecom speaking at the VPF Forum today said that in France triple-play is $50 per month.
