Consolidation Ain't Over: Alltel

Market Watch is reporting that Alltel is shopping itself around. After spinning off its wireline business into what is now Windstream, Alltel is looking to sell itself (the wireless business). Buyers like Cingular and VZW would have a hard time with anti-trust (except maybe in today's FCC and DOJ that doesn't seem to understand monopoly and anti-trust concepts).
