Skilled Labor Shortage

USA Today reported on a National Association for Business Economics study that showed a"shortage of skilled workers, however, has been a growing problem for businesses." And "the Federal Reserve said it received complaints of skilled-labor shortages in some regions of the country." I think part of the shortage of "skilled" labor is due to a horrible education system in this country. If a politician can earn $100k salary, why can't we pay teaches more? The flipside to the shortage is that companies will be more likely to outsource IT and Network Admin functions to NSPs.
