Google Office? Announcement expected tomorrow Posted on BBReports on 2005-10-03 18:33:39 Internet News reports that Google and Sun Microsystems tomorrow will announce a collaboration to bring StarOffice applications to Google users. "Imagine StarOffice running on the desktop, and Google perfecting the [file synchronization]," says an OpenOffice rep. "Then you have your collaboration space carved out immediately for you, and Google is hosting it." Google already offers e-mail, photo managing and instant messaging applications, and it's expected they'll release a calendar software sometime this month.
